INSURANCE PROHIBITION

Members of a healthy society are by nature insured by their strong bonds. Family and frineds ought to be insurance enough if a society lives according to Islamic laws. Insurers in our world today add much less to society and take a whole lot more. Anyone who knows the basics of insurance knows that overall the money given to insurance companies is far more than what is given back when something goes wrong. I would actually even dare to say that insurance causes some people, driver, etc...to be more reckless and hence could actually be a cause for life endangerment.
Just because we managed to psh ourselves to a situation where selfishness rules and insurance became the main method of protecting ourselves from unpredictabilities of life need not give insurance any legitimacy.

FASTING

Fasting is one of those things that are driven by the very nature of humans. As Maslow's pyramid of needs classify it hunger is a very big motivator in human behavior. When a person is pre-occupied by hunger he is given the opportunity to think and contemplate spiritual matters. Also it gives people the opportunity to feel the misery of hunger that the less fortunates endure.
Economically speaking it is also a mean by which expenditure can be reduced. Fasting has also been shown to have positive medical effects.

Interest Rates (Riba) Prohibition

Interest rates are also one of those things whose disastourous effects can only be realized when its too late. The quran say when you have accepted the dealing of Riba you have consequently accepted WAR with GOD and thats what exactly it is. We have seen individuals and even countries becoming completely debilitated we can see that the war promised by god is upon us.

Riba is simply a means by which people are allowed to live their future lives in the present. If the natural way to poses a car is to work five years and save then buying it today is spending your five year year-ahead income today. In the long run we would reach a point where we have spent all our future incomes in the present and the results would be unbarable.

Furthermore, interests rate mean higher costs of production for businesses and higher costs of purchasing for individuals. That means the cost of goods are far hingher than their natural costs. We have a far better alternative in stock markets. People gather their incomes and use them to produce goods at natural costs of productions.

Everywhere in the world the default rate on loans and credit card bills is on a hike so if we consider a hundred percent imminent default, everything will onbe day come to a halt.

Dress Code for Women

Order in any societies is almost impossible where certain natural forces are not kept in check. One of those forces is procreation. Human sexuality is a force so powerful that it could easily make a stable society if is enjoyed in a guided manner and could easily break the social fabric if taken lightly. The dress code requirement in Islam emanates from the fact that sex is just that, sex…the most powerful urge after hunger. Societies that have taken sex lightly have disregarded the importance of women covering their bodies. Human males are created in such a way that cues from the outside world are easily capable of aggravating the sexual urges. Among the most powerful cues is seeing certain parts of a woman's body. Breasts, buttocks or even legs are all stimulants for human male's sexual urges. When Islam requires females to cover their bodies in a certain manner, it is only done that way to prohibit the aggravation of sexual urges that could lead to illicit sex. For most people in the world, the damaging effects of premarital or extramarital sexual affairs are quite clear. However, there are societies that have reached a point where they treat the fulfillment of sexual urges as the treatment of any other needs such as hunger. They believe that fulfilling sexual needs can be through any one and that changing sexual partners is essentially the same as changing the types of meals one have. Societies that still have common sense in them, intuitively understand the destructive nature of such behaviors.

Other ills of females dressing haphazardly is the creation of male community that is brainwashed to believe that certain body types are better than others and eventually beauty becomes identified with certain body formations. The destructiveness nature of leading man to believe that beauty is defined in specified forms and shapes results in idolizing women of certain outlooks while excluding the many who do not fit those descriptions. That’s where the genius of Islam can be seen. By forcing women to cover their bodies in full you have minimized the idolization of certain body formation and have given males more freedom to have a varied subject of their desire. Despite the fact it is natural for humans (now and historically) to associate body image and beauty with self image, evidence is supportive of the fact that physical appearance is far more important in the present than ever before and has actually taken a new form. Historical master piece paints provide a concrete support for the belief that thinness was not always associated with beauty or more accurately being thin was not a condition for receiving a beauty stamp of approval. All these changes in the way man choose their female partners is largely due to over exposure.

Persuading or otherwise pressurizing people to become thinner is a direct result of more exposure of female's bodies. Uncontrolled sexual behavior is also a result of females dressing in a more exposed fashion.

Alcohol Prohibition

Views on the ills or benefits of alcohol fall into three categories. First, the far right believes with utter certainty that alcohol consumption is harmful and nil of any sort of benefits. This group believes that alcohol consumption cannot benefit a society in any angle, be it social or economic. Quite to the contrary, it is harmful in many ways, i.e. health wise damaging, economically drain-full and socially destructive. Second, there are those who believe that alcohol can have its benefits if used moderately and with high degree of responsibility. In which case they believe it can add some economic benefits to a society and offer means for people to relax and unburden from their daily life pressures. A third group on the far left believes that life with no alcohol isn’t complete. This group associates alcohol with most of their activities, from business meetings to leisure gatherings.

My view on this is simply that, it is true that alcohol consumption can benefit people if used moderately and responsibly. It can be a good vehicle for relaxation and meeting people and in some cases could in fact open doors for economic benefits. However, alcohol usage is a progressive disease that is very infectious. Statistics do prove that alcohol usage is highly costly and for most people it is health damaging. Alcohol is also blamed for breaking many marriages resulting in broken families that ultimately result in broken societies.

Yes there are those who seemingly take a responsible approach to alcohol consumption, however, they are very few. In order to allow those few responsible drinkers, societies have no choice but to allow it for everyone and that’s where the problem lies. It is not possible to allow only those few responsible drinkers while prohibiting those irresponsible ones because the level of responsibility can not be measured or assessed. Furthermore, even for the responsible alcohol users, alcohol is more less a dead weight loss to society due to its very nature. Contrary to the essentiality of food or shelter, alcohol has no measurable value to society but yet costs societies hugely. In Britain for example, the cost of alcohol was estimated to be 20 billion dollars in 2005. You can figure out how much benefits could that kind of cash have brought to the Brits if it was used in areas of more benefits.

Alcohol is also responsible for facilitating other ills in societies. For example no one doubts the effects of alcohol on people's sexual behavior. It is a scientific fact that most illegitimate sex is initiated by the influence of alcohol and hence much of STDs transmission could be linked to alcohol consumption.

Polygamy

Ladies and Gentlemen.

Polygamy is not only a matter of luxury and convenience for man, it is a matter of practicality for humanity. Most Islamic laws are likely to be understood after the fact, i.e. when not following those laws backfires is when humans know the wisdom behind them. In the West where polygamy is shunned, having multiple sex parteners is widespread. As a matter of fact it is far more convinient for man to have laws prohibitting multiple wives because it offers room for manuvering without serious consequences. In societies where a man can have sex with as many people as possible and be free to enjoy without having to bare any responsibilty. Men can change partners while leaving children behind and having not to be responsible for them. Child support is a very small part of child raring duties!. Islam understantands the nature of man to be wanting to enjoy as many types of woman as possible and whether they are allowed or not they will still seek it. Therefore, Islam allows multiple wives to ensure that when you choose the luxury of multiple partners you also make a signature of commitment to handle the weight associated with the ride.

Other practical reasons for polygamy include the dispropotionate numbers of women compared to men. Child death rate of female borns are lower than those of boys, wars claim more men then women, life expectancy for women is longer, etc.... Also as marriege isnt about sex alone and rather its about family and social stability, polygamy is practical in another very essential way. One man is able to provide many children for multiple women in a single year while females can only bare one child per year at most and thus allowing females to have multiple husband wont be practical.

Finally, as studies have proven, man are more sexual and women are more emotional and hence it is easier for different women to accept sharing one man on the basis of emotional attachement while men, in his right mind, cannot accept to share a woman with another man.

The problem with the West is that they have outsmarted themselves and have created theories from which they cant escape, they have lost their breaking systems. They have decided that men and women are equal and thus they have to live it eventhough its proving unrealistic on the ground. We all know that women are sexual commodities in the West but they would attempt to make us believe that that is a symbol of liberty and equality. Males will always be superior to females and any attempts to equalize the two will just inferiorate females further. The day awe are able to equalize tomatos to onions is the day we will be able to equalize females to males. It is impossible to equalize things that are not built the same way!!!
